about the Occupational Health and Safety and Environment policy

The high quality of the engineering services, occupational health and safety at work and environmental protection are of high priority to the Company’s management and are of a first-rate significance among the economic and other public needs.

As a company with social importance and responsibility , we recognize, that our development and prosperity depend on the real results to the expectations of our clients, partners , interested parties and society as a whole regarding the quality of our products, provision of occupational health and safety conditions, prevention and control of environmental pollution.

On the grounds of the recognized responsibilities and related to them obligations, the Management of NIPRORUDA JSCo declare, that:

1. The high quality of our products, provision of occupational health and safety conditions, prevention and control of environmental pollution is a personal comittment of every member of the Management.
2. Quarantee the quality of products and strict adhering to the legal requirements regarding occupational health and safety conditions and environmental protection, by implementation, maintaining and effective operation of an Integral Management System based on the International Quality standards (БДС EN ISO 9001:2001), occupational health and safety conditions (OHSAS 18001:1999) and environmental (ISO 14001:2004), which continually is being developed in conformance with the international standards, normative acts, good available techniques and practices.
3. Provide the necessary resources for effective operation of the system.
4. Ensure priority of the objectives and tasks on improving quality, occupational health and safety conditions and environmental protection.
5. By an effective operative Management System they propose a frame for setting and overview of the objectives on quality, occupational health and safety conditions and environmental protection.
6. Organize and conduct annual overviews of the system and carry out arrangements for continual improvement of activities.
7. Provide access and make popular their policy among the interested parties.

The policy of NIPRORUDA JSCo in the sphere of quality, occupational health and safety conditions and environmental protection has been disseminated and clarified to the entire personnel of the Company. The regulations of procedures and standard-engineering documentation are obligatory for implementation and are observed by all employees in the Company.

The Company is a member of Bulgarian Mining Chamber, Bulgarian Construction Chamber, Science and Technical Union in Mining and Geology and Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The company has 56 high-qualified design engineers and researchers under permanent labor contract (including 6 specialists having academic rank, 8 research associates and 8 Doctors in Science) in the following disciplines:

• Geological engineers and water engineers;
• Geodetic engineers and mine surveyors;
• Mining engineers, dressers, metallurgical engineers;
• Architects and civil engineers - designers;
• Civil engineers in waterside construction, irrigation and land reclamation construction, Water Supply and Sewerage systems;
• Mechanical engineers: process engineers, Heating and ventilation;
• Heat-engineering;
• Electrical and Automation engineers;
• Agronomists, biologists, chemical engineers specialists in remediation of polluted soils and land-reclamation of contaminated area;
• Researchers specialized in development of meliorants based on organic stock and by-broducts.
